Game of War Fire Age Strategy Guide, Tips & Review
Game of War Strategy Guide & Tips

As you enter the game, it welcomes you with a tutorial where you learn the basics – you will find out about the types of resources, the way your kingdom works and stuff like that. Don’t worry about being alone after the tutorial is complete – every time you encounter something new the helper will pop-out and explain what to do next. You can find help in the Menu of the game or you can even ask someone to help you on chat – the community is friendly ( or at least when is not at war). You have a 24-Hour Peace Shield that you should take advantage off.
Start building enough resource buildings to have a continuous flow of resources going for your kingdom – it should suffice at early levels. You should connect with Facebook to unlock the Gold Mine which allows you and your friends to receive and gift Gold which is the most rare resource in-game and can be bought with real money. The best thing you can do after you finish the tutorial is to follow the recommended quests. Always remember to train an army because you can gather more resources with them from outside of your kingdom’s walls.
The next thing you should probably do is to join an Alliance because it offers you small perks (reduced timers for construction), territorial protection (people will have second thoughts of attacking you when you are part of an alliance) and 100 Gold to spend. Another good tip (I learned this the hard way) is that you should never use the resources which are stockpiled in your inventory unless it is necessary – if you are robbed the resources that are in your inventory stay intact and can help you rebound. Also never neglect the Forge where you can…well forge equipment for your hero or the Academy where you can research stuff that will help you improve in different aspects (such as Economics, Combat, Wall Traps or even your Hero). The point is that every building in the kingdom is important and offers you something.
If you and your friends are joining the game at the same time you may want to use the Free Teleport available for every new player as soon as possible because once your Stronghold reaches level 6 you cannot use that teleport anymore. Using this Free Teleport ensures you that you are close to your friends or to your Alliance.

If you can and want to spend money in a game then Game of War is a very good oneto do. There are multiple in app purchase options available that can really help you out. They have a new player bundle from which you receive various goods and items. Depending on the time of the year you can receive special offers like Summer Deals or Christmas Deals. You can also buy Gold or Alliance Gifts (prices starting from 5$ up to 80$ or more).
Events
There are different kinds of events in the game. I will only mention a few and let you discover the other ones.
Global Solo Event – This event is for the players around all the kingdoms in the game. If you become a leader in the Solo Event you will receive consistent prizes. You get points by attacking Dungeon Monsters which are rather weak.
Global Alliance Event – These events are destined for Alliances from the entire realm. If your Alliance reaches the target points and you participate you will receive a consistent prize. In order to do that you must follow the instructions from “How to Score Points”
Global Inferno Solo Event – This event is a special one because you need to fight a much harder monster which is almost impossible to kill. However if you manage to kill him you will be rewarded proportionally.

Quests
There are 4 types of quests:
Empire Quests– the quests you receive for building stuff, training warriors, research, crafting, marching and so on.
Daily Quests – this quests are more rewarding for players who login often – you chose one (types: Basic, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary) and you wait for the timer associated with the quest to expire and then you claim your reward. You may want to prioritize choose the quest that offers you the highest reward.
Alliance Quests – this quests are the exact same thing as the Daily Quests but the rewards here are Loyalty and Funds for your Alliance so make sure you grab those too.
VIP Quests – quests that are only available for those who have their VIP status active.
Game of War Review
In this game you are the leader of a new kingdom destined for glory (when it’s ready of course, no pressure). Your kingdom is called a Protected Kingdom which is a kingdom that can’t be robbed nor can rob other kingdoms. After you prove your worthiness, the kingdom will become an Ancient Kingdom and you will be free to test your might against other Ancient Kingdoms or if you want to take a more safer (and boring) approach you can just trade with them.
Besides building you have a bunch of stuff to do. Your hero develops as your kingdom develops which gives the game a RPG touch. The hero has not one but two skill trees – one for boosting the city (for as long as the hero is not captured) and one for the hero effectiveness in fighting monsters which are spread all over the world. There is also a casino where your hero can and will consume all his casino chips (which can be obtained from day-to-day quests, gifts or bought from the Alliance Store or even bought with real money) for countless rewards – there is also a free spin per day, so make sure to login daily.

In this game the most important “resource” is the Power which is the added power of your troops, buildings, traps, quests, research and hero level ups. I find this really interesting because it makes the player not to focus just on building or troops (even this may seem like a good idea if you ask me) in order to display on his profile a superior Power. I think that this thing adds versatility to the game and you should try to build a development strategy in order to succeed.
The best thing I did in Game of War so far is to join an alliance. I played a lot of other games like this but I was pleasantly surprised by the community. The alliance I joined (a tiny one) was very friendly and eager to help me get on my feet. People in this game (as far as I encountered) seems to be friendlier. As I said before the Alliance plays an important role in this game because it is present everywhere – events, reduced construction timers, special items in the Alliance Store and so on. The fact that the game encourages communication between players is the first step for a MMO on mobile platforms (a man can hope).
Game of War: Fire Age Guide – Crafting Tips

Though it’s easy to get distracted with other aspects of Game of War: Fire Age, crafting is a very important skill to master in the game. Here is a guide with tips to help you with that!
All the materials and gems you purchase with gold or obtain from attacking monsters and other players, or from quests, are used in the Forge. It has four menus: Craft, Combine, Inventory, and Gems/Materials. For now, we’ll be focusing on the first two of these, namely Craft and Combine.
Combine:
Crafting materials are of various qualities, as listed below:
Gray (level 1) [1 gray]
White (level 2) [4 grays]
Green (level 3) [16 grays]
Blue (level 4) [64 grays]
Purple (level 5) [256 grays]
Orange (level 6)
Initially, you’ll encounter mostly gray materials. You can combine four identical gray (level 1) items (such as a level 1 metal) to make a white (level 2) metal. Same deal for items of even higher levels – the higher the level, the more gray levels you’ll need to obtain it.
Since it takes quite a long time to craft purple metals, it’s a good idea to save all your materials until your Hero is level 50.
You can still make a few gray items in order to boost things like construction speed, research speed, food/silver output, but don’t spend your /blue materials making green/blue items that won’t be really valuable later on.
In addition to combining materials, you can also combine gems. The idea is very similar here as well: you can use four level 1 gems to make a level 2 gem etc.

Craft:
In the craft section you’ll see all the materials you have. This page can be useful if you want to utilize all the materials of a given color, offering a 100% chance of success.
From the recipe page, it will use your highest level materials automatically – though this might not be the best choice of action and could result in you wasting some of your more valuable materials. By clicking on the “Recipes” button you can see what you can make, which is either “Equipment” or “Ancient Relics.” The latter require very rare materials, so you’ll mostly be making Equipment.
There are six types of items to choose from:
*Weapons
*Helmets
*Armors
*Accessories
*Foot Armor
Special Event Gear
At the very beginning, you probably won’t be able make any Special Event Gear, however you’ll mostly want to focus on Accessories, which can boost building production and resource gathering. Other kinds of items are useful in combat.
Before crafting an item, you’ll see various percentages for each color of quality. This is the chance you will actually make that item quality, so don’t gamble with your materials, instead craft items that have a 100% chance of success for the color you want (purple should be best).
