Game of War Fire Age Strategy Guide, Tips & Review
Game of War Strategy Guide & Tips

As you enter the game, it welcomes you with a tutorial where you learn the basics – you will find out about the types of resources, the way your kingdom works and stuff like that. Don’t worry about being alone after the tutorial is complete – every time you encounter something new the helper will pop-out and explain what to do next. You can find help in the Menu of the game or you can even ask someone to help you on chat – the community is friendly ( or at least when is not at war). You have a 24-Hour Peace Shield that you should take advantage off.
Start building enough resource buildings to have a continuous flow of resources going for your kingdom – it should suffice at early levels. You should connect with Facebook to unlock the Gold Mine which allows you and your friends to receive and gift Gold which is the most rare resource in-game and can be bought with real money. The best thing you can do after you finish the tutorial is to follow the recommended quests. Always remember to train an army because you can gather more resources with them from outside of your kingdom’s walls.
The next thing you should probably do is to join an Alliance because it offers you small perks (reduced timers for construction), territorial protection (people will have second thoughts of attacking you when you are part of an alliance) and 100 Gold to spend. Another good tip (I learned this the hard way) is that you should never use the resources which are stockpiled in your inventory unless it is necessary – if you are robbed the resources that are in your inventory stay intact and can help you rebound. Also never neglect the Forge where you can…well forge equipment for your hero or the Academy where you can research stuff that will help you improve in different aspects (such as Economics, Combat, Wall Traps or even your Hero). The point is that every building in the kingdom is important and offers you something.
If you and your friends are joining the game at the same time you may want to use the Free Teleport available for every new player as soon as possible because once your Stronghold reaches level 6 you cannot use that teleport anymore. Using this Free Teleport ensures you that you are close to your friends or to your Alliance.

If you can and want to spend money in a game then Game of War is a very good oneto do. There are multiple in app purchase options available that can really help you out. They have a new player bundle from which you receive various goods and items. Depending on the time of the year you can receive special offers like Summer Deals or Christmas Deals. You can also buy Gold or Alliance Gifts (prices starting from 5$ up to 80$ or more).
Events
There are different kinds of events in the game. I will only mention a few and let you discover the other ones.
Global Solo Event – This event is for the players around all the kingdoms in the game. If you become a leader in the Solo Event you will receive consistent prizes. You get points by attacking Dungeon Monsters which are rather weak.
Global Alliance Event – These events are destined for Alliances from the entire realm. If your Alliance reaches the target points and you participate you will receive a consistent prize. In order to do that you must follow the instructions from “How to Score Points”
Global Inferno Solo Event – This event is a special one because you need to fight a much harder monster which is almost impossible to kill. However if you manage to kill him you will be rewarded proportionally.

Quests
There are 4 types of quests:
Empire Quests– the quests you receive for building stuff, training warriors, research, crafting, marching and so on.
Daily Quests – this quests are more rewarding for players who login often – you chose one (types: Basic, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary) and you wait for the timer associated with the quest to expire and then you claim your reward. You may want to prioritize choose the quest that offers you the highest reward.
Alliance Quests – this quests are the exact same thing as the Daily Quests but the rewards here are Loyalty and Funds for your Alliance so make sure you grab those too.
VIP Quests – quests that are only available for those who have their VIP status active.
Game of War Review
In this game you are the leader of a new kingdom destined for glory (when it’s ready of course, no pressure). Your kingdom is called a Protected Kingdom which is a kingdom that can’t be robbed nor can rob other kingdoms. After you prove your worthiness, the kingdom will become an Ancient Kingdom and you will be free to test your might against other Ancient Kingdoms or if you want to take a more safer (and boring) approach you can just trade with them.
Besides building you have a bunch of stuff to do. Your hero develops as your kingdom develops which gives the game a RPG touch. The hero has not one but two skill trees – one for boosting the city (for as long as the hero is not captured) and one for the hero effectiveness in fighting monsters which are spread all over the world. There is also a casino where your hero can and will consume all his casino chips (which can be obtained from day-to-day quests, gifts or bought from the Alliance Store or even bought with real money) for countless rewards – there is also a free spin per day, so make sure to login daily.

In this game the most important “resource” is the Power which is the added power of your troops, buildings, traps, quests, research and hero level ups. I find this really interesting because it makes the player not to focus just on building or troops (even this may seem like a good idea if you ask me) in order to display on his profile a superior Power. I think that this thing adds versatility to the game and you should try to build a development strategy in order to succeed.
The best thing I did in Game of War so far is to join an alliance. I played a lot of other games like this but I was pleasantly surprised by the community. The alliance I joined (a tiny one) was very friendly and eager to help me get on my feet. People in this game (as far as I encountered) seems to be friendlier. As I said before the Alliance plays an important role in this game because it is present everywhere – events, reduced construction timers, special items in the Alliance Store and so on. The fact that the game encourages communication between players is the first step for a MMO on mobile platforms (a man can hope).
Game of War: Fire Age Guide – Crafting Tips

Though it’s easy to get distracted with other aspects of Game of War: Fire Age, crafting is a very important skill to master in the game. Here is a guide with tips to help you with that!
All the materials and gems you purchase with gold or obtain from attacking monsters and other players, or from quests, are used in the Forge. It has four menus: Craft, Combine, Inventory, and Gems/Materials. For now, we’ll be focusing on the first two of these, namely Craft and Combine.
Combine:
Crafting materials are of various qualities, as listed below:
Gray (level 1) [1 gray]
White (level 2) [4 grays]
Green (level 3) [16 grays]
Blue (level 4) [64 grays]
Purple (level 5) [256 grays]
Orange (level 6)
Initially, you’ll encounter mostly gray materials. You can combine four identical gray (level 1) items (such as a level 1 metal) to make a white (level 2) metal. Same deal for items of even higher levels – the higher the level, the more gray levels you’ll need to obtain it.
Since it takes quite a long time to craft purple metals, it’s a good idea to save all your materials until your Hero is level 50.
You can still make a few gray items in order to boost things like construction speed, research speed, food/silver output, but don’t spend your /blue materials making green/blue items that won’t be really valuable later on.
In addition to combining materials, you can also combine gems. The idea is very similar here as well: you can use four level 1 gems to make a level 2 gem etc.

Craft:
In the craft section you’ll see all the materials you have. This page can be useful if you want to utilize all the materials of a given color, offering a 100% chance of success.
From the recipe page, it will use your highest level materials automatically – though this might not be the best choice of action and could result in you wasting some of your more valuable materials. By clicking on the “Recipes” button you can see what you can make, which is either “Equipment” or “Ancient Relics.” The latter require very rare materials, so you’ll mostly be making Equipment.
There are six types of items to choose from:
*Weapons
*Helmets
*Armors
*Accessories
*Foot Armor
Special Event Gear
At the very beginning, you probably won’t be able make any Special Event Gear, however you’ll mostly want to focus on Accessories, which can boost building production and resource gathering. Other kinds of items are useful in combat.
Before crafting an item, you’ll see various percentages for each color of quality. This is the chance you will actually make that item quality, so don’t gamble with your materials, instead craft items that have a 100% chance of success for the color you want (purple should be best).
Game of War Cheats / Game of War – Fire Age Cheats: Tips & Tricks
Game of War (fully titled Game of War – Fire Age) is an incredible base building / empire management game that I got hooked on a few days ago and now I find it impossible to stop. This fortunately means that I have a lot of Game of War cheats to share with you: tips and tricks to help you get your kingdom better and get you one step closer to being the best player in the game. I am sure that this sounds really nice, so let’s check out the Game of War – Fire Age cheats for the iPhone / iPad game below!

1. Complete quests
The easiest way to progress in the game is to complete the quests. They guide you through the building stages and the steps you should follow at first, and with all those free upgrades, you’re set for a great start. So follow the quests and build/upgrade all the buildings recommended, while making sure that you already start training troops.
2. Join an active alliance
It is vital for you to join an alliance in Game of War because there are a ton of advantages from being in one. Of course, the more members the alliance has, the better and the more active it is, the better. Generally alliances with a huge number of members are a good choice for starters: even though not all are active, you will still get your bonuses, like alliance gifts and more important help speeding up your buildings!
3. Build a few barracks to start with
The game only tells you to build one barracks and keep it for a long time, but you should build at least three to start with in order to maximize the production of soldiers.
4. Complete alliance quests!
Make sure to complete the alliance quests as soon as possible to make sure that you get the loyalty points and the gold. Also, this helps keep your alliance strong, which is the first step towards being the best.
5. Use your teleport after joining an alliance
You will get a free item that allows you to teleport wherever you want to before your Stronghold reaches level 5. It would be a great idea to move together with your alliance members – the proximity offers a ton of advantages and is the first thing needed to build a solid alliance (and keep you safe with their help).
6. Build hospitals!
My rule is to have as many hospitals as I have barracks. Hospitals help you with your troops and makes it easier for you to rebuild defences after you are attacked. The more you have, the more troops you will have to heal and not train again.
7. Keep visiting the Forge
The forge allows you to create items for your hero, powerful items that will help you greatly. So if you have the resources, make sure to use them as soon as possible (you earn resources from quests, resource parcels on the map or you can purchase them)
8. Occupy resource fields ASAP
After building a decent army, look for resource fields on the map and occupy them. You will probably find quite a few unoccupied ones at first, it’s a good idea to go for them too. Also have in mind that you should go for the resources that you lack (iron for example). Interesting about occupying is that you don’t permanently own that area once occupied, just harvest it until troops get to maximum capacity and then they automatically return home with the loot.
9. Open the Alliance Gifts ASAP
Whenever somebody in your alliance makes a purchase with real money in the game, everybody in the alliance gets a chance to receive a free gift with goodies from the pack. However, this expire soon, so make sure you’re always on the lookout for these extremely valuable alliance gifts!
10. Always help your alliance
If you are lucky enough to end up in an active alliance, make sure you always keep an eye on the alliance tab and help as required. This includes reinforcing and making sure that you do your best to keep everybody in the alliance safe.
11. Keep an eye on your storehouse
As good you are as a player and as solid the alliance, you can still end up hit and hurt. That’s why it would be best to make sure you have your warehouse to a top level to hide as many resources as possible. If people can’t farm on your empire, they have no reason to attack over and over again!
12. How to defend your troops
A good trick (although sometimes risky) to defend your troops is to send them to an unoccupied spot on the map. While there, other players won’t really have many reasons to attack, because they would gain no resources. However, if they do attack, you don’t benefit from having hospitals in your empire, so you risk losing them all!
13. Start your research early on
The Academy is your friends because it helps you research a lot of goodies that in turn will unlock special items, like the traps and boosts in the Traps menu.
14. Balance hero skill point spending between attack skills
Whenever your hero levels up, he or she gains skill points that should be spent in the hero’s skill tree. Focus on troop attack at first, then go for research and Food Production. Troop training should come next, followed by all the attack skills. I recommend ignoring the production boosts since you will get enough resources anyway and your hero must be ready to destroy your enemies!
15. Choose your quests based on the rewards
Initially, I was selecting quests blindly for the daily and alliance menus and it was not good: I always thought that the higher level quests give better rewards, but that is not always the case. A lower level quest with fewer resource rewards might still be a great option if you have resources or materials as reward!
16. Manage resources in your inventory
All the resources that you get from the chests go into your inventory, so make sure to check them out there and use them, but only when you really need it!
17. Be patient and active!
There are really a ton of things to do in Game of War on your iPhone and iPad and you only have to be very active to access all the goodies and the fun of the game. Prepare to get hit in the chin every now and then, prepare to be farmed on (not if you’re in a solid alliance) and prepare to have fun! This is an amazing game that will keep you busy for a long time.
Game Of War - Fire Age - Tips, Tricks, and Strategies On How To Be The Very Best
First things, first
* Most games like these are good at teaching you the basics and Game of War - Fire Age is no different.
* Follow the quest lines it offers up at first. They'll run you through the basics better than any explanation could offer, plus they get the foundations settled ready for your steady path towards being the best.
* Be aware of one particular quest, though. It asks you to scout another player, which is potentially a recipe for disaster if you annoy the wrong person.
* Pick out a player with a random name full of letters and numbers. That tends to mean they haven't fully thrown themselves into the game because they haven't renamed themselves, so they're probably quite weak. Even better, they might have abandoned the game at some earlier point.
* Also, keep an eye on what alliance the player being scouted is part of. Safety in numbers is key here and you don't want to annoy someone that's part of a big alliance.
Stick Together

Join an alliance as soon as possible. Game of War - Fire Age isn't like other games where being anti-social is fine. Much of your success is going to be down to being part of an alliance.
* For one thing, an alliance means you can ask others to help speed up your timers when building or researching things. Plus, in return you can do the same for other players.
* Build a name and reputation for yourself. People are more likely to help you if they know who you are, rather than being an anonymous number.
* Remember to follow orders. Alliances are serious business and while they can protect you from attack, you need to be a team player, too. It might sound occasionally tedious but it'll pay off in the long run.
* Having said that, don't mouth off in general chat. While you want to build a name for yourself within the alliance, you don't want to draw undue attention from others who might be keen to bring you down a peg or two.
Resources are Everything
Keep your resources ticking along wherever possible. Game of War - Fire Age is pretty tactical here as you have limited space to allocate to your resources.
* Those wanting to amass a huge army might want to focus on farm building for the sake of food production, but a more balanced approach is better.
* Build around 10 farms with the rest of the spaces divided up between the other resources and watch as you're rarely short of anything for particularly long.
Build, Build, Build
* As soon as you've joined an alliance, you can use a free teleport to move your city to a location near your allies. Do it. It'll help. A lot.
* Once that's done, focus on upgrading your stronghold. Don't do it in a different order as once your stronghold reaches level 6, you lose that free teleport.
* Build plenty of villas to gain silver, which is vital for research. As well as that, try to keep everything reasonably balanced.
* Hospitals are useful because they help get your troops back up to scratch after a rough battle, but you also need plenty of barracks to train those troops up.
* Level up that academy as soon as possible for even better units to throw your enemy's way.
* Try to keep your storehouse in line with your other resource levels, so nothing goes to waste.
* Finally, don't forget the Gymnos. It ensures that if you get killed, a certain percentage of your hero's experience points transfer to the new hero, meaning you don't miss out as much as you could. Each Gymnos upgrade adds to the percentage gain.
Keeping Busy
* Take on alliance quests and daily quests every time you play. Free rewards are handy, plus it'll make the game more interesting than simple busywork.
* Scout for abandoned places to attack. Some players will have given up a while back but still have left plenty of resources for you to gain for easy profit. After all, there's no fear of retaliation!
How To Build A Great City In Game Of War - Fire Age - Hints, Tips, And Tricks
You're wishing that some kind soul would teach you the basics of play, as well as how to progress quickly through this highly competitive PvP MMO city builder, and then join a powerful Alliance to rule the kingdom.
Well you're in luck, my friend, because that's exactly what you'll find below.
Getting started

The first thing you'll want to do is begin following the recommended upgrade paths, as laid out by the game's Quest system. Simply tap on Quests at the bottom of the main screen, and look at the top challenge you can take on.
When you're starting out, these will consist of ensuring you have one of every type of building that's available to you, and upgrading the ones you already have so that they produce more resources.
If you're playing on a budget or only logging in during your commutes, then you won't have access to VIP status benefits very quickly, so ensure that you're not wasting your time. You'll want to be earning as many resources and ticking off as many Quests as possible, so start juggling wait timers.
Though you won't be able to go on Alliance Quests yet, you will have access to Daily Quests, and these can be a great way to get resources. They're really easy: just tap the Start button next to the Quest you want to go on, and a timer will count down.
You should also be engaging in research at your Academy at the same time as questing. Just tap a skill, tap research, and meet the criteria to begin the upgrade. You can also train more troops, heal your wounded at the Hospital, and so on. Any way you can improve your base and bring in more resources in multiple ways at the same time is a great benefit.
The pen is mightier

A word of warning: one of the Quests you're given at the start is to scout another player. Unless you're ready to be attacked, don't do this, and certainly don't do it to a member of a powerful alliance. Try to pick a player whose city is named "Empire123456" or similar, as it's likely that they're inactive, and you needn't fear reprisal.
Knowing your limits is a key skill in Fire Age, as it's easy to get crushed by big Alliances if you rub the right people up the wrong way. Be friendly, try not to engage in the world chat or get caught up in petty squabbles, but do focus on your game and make friends.
After you've been logging in for a few days, you'll have built enough VIP rank to the point where you can skip sizeable wait timers. VIP 3 will allow you to skip almost 10 minutes of timer for free, every time you begin a building or upgrade process. Use this to expand and upgrade rapidly, and keep logging in for those VIP bonuses.
Returning to the game daily will give you the usual free spins of bonus wheels you find in most PvP games, but staying in the game will reward you with bonuses, such as free resources. You can also get extra loot by helping - I kid you not - to correct grammar and spelling of messages so that the crowd sourced translation software improves.
Alliances

Alliances are complicated things to be a part of, but you absolutely do want to be a part of one at some point.
The problem is this: finding a good one can be tough, and there are plenty of fly-by-nights who have started a new alliance but don't plan on sticking around for too long.
Your best bet is to join one made by a friend, but if you don't know anyone else playing, then scout around the world map and find an empire of a decent size, but not overcrowded, and attempt to join them.
Once you're in, you're committed to logging in every couple of days (minimum) and to following orders.
That might not sound like a lot of fun, but if you get a decent leader it won't be too serious if you slip up. Watch out for those that like to roleplay, as these little Napoleons can suck a lot of the fun out of the game.
Your leader or those in the upper ranks may ask you to concentrate your upgrades, or build certain items, or refrain from attacking certain Alliances. If you don't obey them, you may get kicked from the Alliance.

After reading this passage, have you master the secret and tips to make more free gold in Game of War?Let’s achieve free gold and earn more gold through completing events together!
Game of War - Fire Age Strategy
AS YOU START:
1- DO NOT battle yet. Collect resources around you:
You collect resources by clicking the resource slot (farms, mines, etc.) outside your city and simply sending as many troops as you can to settle there. The more troops you send, the more they will "load". Once they are finish they will come back and add those resources to your bank.
2- Make troop training a priority:
From the very start TRAIN TROOPS. not just because they will defend you if you are attacked but because the more troops you have the more resources you can get from occupying resources outside your city. The best types of troops for carrying resource loads are Siege troops, followed by infantry. Siege type troops however are significantly slower than infantry. Do not ever stop training, unless you have a strategy in mind (See Advanced strategy entry).
3-RESEARCH
If you want to obtain power fast, what you want to do is research as fast as you can. Researching unlocks more powerful troops (which gives you more power points), and makes construction, researching, resource gathering and production among many other things considerably faster! Research will make you grow much faster if you make it a priority to learn how to best use the research tree.
3.1. Research Speed first:
Use both your research capacity and hero skills to improve construction speed and research speed before you move on to improving troop qualities. Troops should not need to be fighting at an early stage. They should be used mainly for gathering purposes (which means you also might want to use research and skill points to improve loading and gathering speed).
4- USE ALL of available space for construction:
But if there are buildings you are still not allowed to build (such as a prison or altar) do make sure you leave empty spots waiting, unless you want to take a more "growing" approach to the game, as opposed to "attacking". In the latter case build quickly but make sure you have a clear plan in mind.
5- SAVE your gold:
Soon you will wish you had not spent it. Maxing out your gold mine is a steady way to always have some gold back up. If you purchase gold make sure you do it when there's a good sale.
6- Do the Quests:
They are what will make your hero grow faster and therefore all the boosts that come with it. You also will earn materials for crafting weapons and accessories as well as funds to spend in the Alliance store. Never neglecting a quest is key to getting ahead in the game. There will be a point however when you will have a better understanding of your personal strategy and only then you can start to ignore the Quest Bar, or take it off your screen (in settings).
7- Save your Alliance loyalty and funds for critical material:

Many people seem to agree that Advanced Teleport is the most imperative item to have, followed by daily chances and Hero resurrection. If you want you hero to grow faster and to obtain materials easily you may use these funds to purchase "dailies" (daily chance).
7.1. Use your free Teleports right before upgrading your stronghold to level 6:
Once you have used you first stages to gather resources and research as fast as you can it's time to move to either a better location (safer, fuller of resources) or as close as you can to the rest of your alliance mates. You may also be in a Kingdom you don't want to be. Remember your free teleports before you are lvl 5 may take you to any kingdom. Once you are past this level of Stronghold you will be never be able to leave that kingdom, other than short periods of time of war.
8- Craft at the forge:
But make sure you take a careful look at the boosts you will gain and their percentage. Perhaps waiting a little longer until you get better materials or you hero is at the appropriate level will help you obtain better objects. Although this is up to what your priorities are, it is strongly suggested to craft items that will speed up construction and research, mainly accessories (i.e. glass vase, decanter for lower levels, eventually Chalice and Books of war when you are allowed to craft them), and weapons.
9- Upgrade Watchtower to At least level 11:
This way you will know whether your troops are ready to defend without Alliance help.
10. Follow suggested Empire Quests:
They are generally designed so that you are don't neglect critical parts of your city development while strengthening other parts. Some players find this to be the fastest and more reliable way to grow. As said before, you will know the right time to ignore.
11. Make peace with neighbors:
by sending them messages encouraging peace, or asking you alliance leader to pact with neighboring alliances. This will save you precious time to collect resources without losing troops.
12. Gather whatever is closest:
Unless you specifically need a certain resource right away, don't be picky about what you get. Just make sure to collect whatever is nearby your city in that moment. Believe me, others will be there in no time and you will be left with nothing to collect if you don't take what's yours! the higher the level of the tile (i.e. 6) the faster your troops will collect and the more loot you may gather.
13. Interact constantly with your alliance:
Participate in chat discussions and provide reinforcements however small. If the members remember your name, the members will respect you and help when you most need it. This also of course saves you from being kicked out when you seem "inactive" .
14. Upgrade critical buildings:
As fast and as much as you can in this order of importance: Academy, Gymos, Walls, Stronghold and Villas. Everything else go as you are able and whenever required, but remember to fill all of your spots unless there's a building pending. In my 'Advanced Strategy" Entry I will talk about the "Villa Approach" and "Hospital Approach".
15. If your city is scouted:
Don't freak out. Bring your troops home and keep them there for a while until the threat is gone, and given you have enough hospitals to save them all. This will be a good time to asses the state of your wall traps and defenses. If not at their maximum capacity do so immediately. There is also something called "Sleep Rally":
15.2. Sleep Rally:
If you can't take the attack because you are too small or you simply don't want your troops sent to hospital simply start a Rally against any other city (smaller city or your "alt") and set it for 8 hours. Add all of your troops with your hero and they will be protected for that amount of time. If you rally on a city across the wonder they will take a lot longer to march and come back, and that marching time will be added to your 8 hours. Make sure the city you are fake rallying on is very small, abandoned (but with alliance) or it is your alternate account. Remember also that you need to build a Hall of War in order to be able to start a rally.
16. Stay close to the Wonder:
Keep your city located as close to the wonder as you can and as you deem safe. The closer you are to the wonder the better access to higher amounts of resources you have. You also have a better sense of what the strongest players are like at the moment.

More Strategies:
1. Alliance and Daily Chances:
Do not use your Alliance or Daily Chances to refresh quests. Instead wait until the quests are completed and start new ones. Remember having VIP on allows to automatically finish quests (without waiting) at a certain level. Wait to use the Daily chances you are piling up from the store to use them until you have a higher VIP level. Legendary Quests appear 1 one in every 150 on average, but that may well give you 450K+ hero points and a sweet level 6 item. Some people are luckier though.
2. For really fast Research time:
Use your hero skill points in the following order:
Food Production or Troop Attack(5), Research (10), Stone Production (3), Ore Production (3), Silver Production (5), Food Production II (5), Wood Production II (5), Ore Production II (5), Silver Production II (5) and finally Research II (20). Follow same idea for Construction Speed.
3. Always send in slots:
The more troops you send to collect resource, the more resource you get... of course. But remember, sending them in slots at the same time will get you the resource picked much faster. For example, if you can send two slots, then you will get the same amount in half the time it would have taken by sending all your troops at once. If you send three slots, then three times as fast and so on. You get the idea.
4. If you keep receiving resource items (through gifts or awards) do not use them unless you have run out of that resource. If you keep piling them up they can never be stolen during attacks.
5. If you are targeted while gathering resources:
Send your troops home immediately. When someone has scouted you and decided to attack means they are confident their troops are more numerous and powerful than yours. Do not take risks, because even if you win you will have lost a considerable amount of soldiers and power. You might also want to start a Sleep Rally (Explained in 15 above).
6. Get your hero well dressed. Fast:
Mainly through completing quests you will eventually obtain enough items to start crafting at the forge. It is highly recommended to create and equip them in this order of importance: Accessories (2 or 3 of them), Weapon, Helmet, Armor and foot armor.
7. Always choose the middle chest:
Statistics show that the center is more likely to be not the best, but the most likely better choice. So when you get three chests in the casino, go for the center.
8. Don't use gems, wait to combine them:
Gems have to be a higher level to really be worth it. Instead keep piling up until you have four of a kind. Go combine them at the Forge and something good will be awaiting.
9. Equipment bags:
Should not be confused. They don't allow you to carry more items, they simply allow you to store more.
10. Aim for level 7 and 8 VIP:
In fact these are the only levels that are worth it (apart from the higher ones). The main thing that happens here is that you get to autocomplete your quests, and since by now you probably know quests are the nicest gifts from the game, you probably don't want to either miss them or get tired of going back and forth every time one is completed. Also a higher level VIP gives you more quests, which also gives you more chances to get your precious legendary quest.
11. Look for lakes:
Silver is the rarest of all resources. If there's lake nearby get all you can before everyone else takes them. Then go back to your immediate resources. If you want more silver you may also just build a lot of villas. See "Advanced Strategy" entry for the "Villa Approach"
Common Questions:
1) How do I get gold?
The only ways of getting gold are:
1. Purchasing it with real money from the Gold store
2. Obtaining it in a chest at the casino
3. Obtaining it in a secret gift
4. Getting it form your friends (for free) with your gold mine. And this is what I would like to explain:
2) How do I use the gold mine?
The gold mine can be a good strategy if you and at least some of your alliance members or simple random Facebook friends use it properly. What you have to do is exchange your facebook names and add each other as friends. Once you click on your gold mine those friends will appear automatically and you are allowed to send 10 gold to each a day (or 12 if you reach lvl 21). Meaning those friends will also do the same, and depending on the level of your gold mine and the amount of friends you have on facebook that are also on the game you can end up pocketing good amounts of gold for free.
3) Can I buy without gold?
Yes . Most items can also be bought with Alliance funds and loyalty at the alliance store. Ask your alliance leaders if you don't see the item of your interest listed.
3) My food number is flashing red, what does it mean?
It means your troops are consuming more than your farms are producing. I will suggest not to dismiss troops but to upgrade your farms or simply make sure there is always enough food gathered to not (ever) run out.
4) I cannot send reinforcements:
If the member of you alliance to whom the help is going is settled in a "protected kingdom" (the text bubble tells you that), means you are NOT in the same kingdom and can never be close to them, unless your stronghold is still below level 5 and you still have your free teleports. If you are already at a higher level you may as well just say good bye to that alliance and look for another one in your own kingdom.
5) How do I attack?
First you must perform a scout to make sure your enemy has considerably less army and traps than you so that there is not risk for you to lose the battle. Once you are sure you are able to afford a battle you may select the city location and choose attack. By then the enemy will have been notified and if he/she belongs to an alliance he/she may request extra reinforcements that are hosted at their embassy. I do not recommend an attack that is not a rally and or that has been studied carefully. The resources won are generally not worth it compared to the amount of troops and power lost. If you still want to attack make sure you hero skills are reset and spent on the left side of your hero tree.
6) What happens if my hero is captured?
It all depends on your stronghold and hero levels. Your opponent may capture you hero after a strong defeat and given that he has a prison. You may offer a bounty of silver to other players to rescue your hero. If your stronghold is above level 15 however, your hero may be executed, and so if the captor choses to do so you will have to perform a resurrection from your graveyard. Don't worry though, you hero will not lose its XP level or any items.
7) Where can I get a book of war?
The book of war is the item needed for upgrading your hall of war. It can be purchased at the store (or requested for the Alliance store) for 15 gold. It's relatively cheap price is due to the fact that it will not be a one time purchase. you will need more and more as you upgrade to higher levels. Books of war can also come as gifts from you alliance, secret gifts and be obtained in the casino.
8) How does the Alliance store work?
In the Items Store you may star an item that is not currently in you alliance store to show your leader you are interested. You leader may include this item in the catalog and in the store. Once it has been placed there you may purchase it with Alliance funds. This results useful when you do not have access to gold but have earned funds through completing quests and other tasks.
9) Why should I be nearby other alliance members?
There are advantages and disadvantages to this. Advantage is obviously that in case you need reinforcements or resource help there will be little waiting time for your or ally troops to arrive, and this always comes handy in emergencies. The dowside to this is that if the land is too crowded it becomes an easy target for higher level players. In addition, the resource gathering may be slightly more difficult and marching times for your troops to resources may increase.
10) How do I move nearby my alliance?
The only way to do this is by purchasing an Advanced Teleport, which can be found in the item store, your alliance catalog and alliance store. If you want to do is simply get out of your current location you may want to purchase instead a Random Teleport from the same store.
11) I cannot teleport or occupy!
If your teleport and occupy options appear in grey it means that you are either too far from that point or that this slot is within a protected kingdom outside your own.
12) How do I know if I won a battle?
Right after the battle you receive a report in the mail. Check it out and you will find statistics including whether you won, number of troops lost and other information.
13) What do I get from winning a battle?
First of all, you always lose something in a battle whether you win it or not, therefore it is very important to carry out attacks after carefully analyzing your scout report and making sure it is a realistic Endeavor. If you win you may steal all of the resources that were not protected in the store house and the city, sometimes obtain materials and get points during kill events.
14) What is the wonder?
The wonder is the area controlled by the ruling alliance. Do not attempt to control the wonder unless you are doing it in a very well organized manner with the rest of your alliance, and of course you are sure your alliance is very strong to hold on to it. The ruling alliances have gone through the same process and are probably very powerful and united. I am a founder of the strongest alliance in my kingdom. My job was to organize the wonder contest every time.
15) There are better resources away from my alliance:
If you decide to go away from your main alliance location for the sake of better resource gathering, make sure your hero stays in you city and that your wall defenses and traps are at its maximum. It is recommended to stay also away from any alliance agglomeration. You may also, again, want to do you Sleep Rally (explained above).
16) I never used my free Teleport and I don't see it anymore:
When you upgrade your stronghold to level 6 and above you are not considered a beginner, therefore your teleport is taken away and you need to purchase one from the store. This is one of the many reasons why your first stages should be used to grow and gather as much material as you can, and transport your city to a better location (or near your alliance) right before upgrading to level 6.
Game of War: Fire Age' Guide - How to Win Without Spending Real Money

Man, there sure are a lot of free to play games on iOS where you build a city and attack other people. Who knew what Civilization would wreak? Well, Game of War: Fire Age [Free] seems to be a pretty popular new entry into the genre, and being a curious fellow, I naturally decided to take a look into it and see what was up. After spending some time with it, what I will say is that while it seems an awful lot like Clash of Clans [Free] and Kingdoms of Camelot [Free] on the surface, the path to success in this one is just different enough to require a slightly modified approach. Rather than give my usual list of tips, I'm instead going to offer you a guide to getting yourself established from scratch, all without spending a cent.
First off, as usual for this type of game, you have a main stat that takes into account your offensive and defensive potential, and building that up is one of your main goals. In this game, it's creatively named Power, and besides the actual troops and defenses you create, it also takes everything you build or upgrade into account. Also as usual for this type of game, you'll be drip-fed a bunch of quests, and if you follow them, your power will naturally build. But you've read to the second paragraph without scrolling down to make a sarcastic comment, and I see that glint in your eye - you want more Power, faster. Well, let's just show you how to do that, while everyone else fools around upgrading their farms because the game told them to.
Join An Alliance
The first tip I'll give you is to join an alliance as soon as you can. Alliances offer many benefits including protection from attacks and helping speed up your timers for construction and research. Until your stronghold reaches level six, you'll have access to a free teleport that you can use to teleport your city to a location nearby your alliance friends. This is important for protection purposes and coordinating attacks. If you've already passed stronghold level six, you can only teleport with the use of a rather costly item found in your alliance's shop, so it's better to do this while it's free.
Resources
You have 24 spaces to allocate to resources. There are a few different viable ways to go with dividing things up. Like in other games of this type, food is pretty important if you're going to have a large standing army, and you're going to want a large standing army, but there are some differences here that might lead you to take a different approach. Here are the three best methods I've discovered through experience and polling other players.

High food production: This is probably the most popular choice. With this style, you'll want to build 21 farms and have just one each of the other three resources. While you'll never have a problem with food with this set-up, and it's very effective early on, you're almost definitely going to need to find an alternative way of acquiring the other three resources, and that way is mostly going to be picking fights with others. Luckily, with all that food, you should have a pretty large standing army to do so.
Balanced: Another popular choice, as with this set-up you probably won't be short on anything too often. For this style, you'll want to build 10 farms, and four each of the other resources. This will leave you with two spaces to do with what you will, based on what type of units you favor. This is my preferred approach.
Low food production: This one is kind of risky, but I met a few high-level players that used this to good effect. In this set-up, you have one farm and spend the other spaces on a mix of the other resources. See, the funny thing is, while your army will consume food, they actually won't starve to death if you don't have any food. Naturally, you need food for things other than just feeding your standing army, but food is more easily gathered through completing missions and attacking others than the other resources are.
Planning Your City
Stronghold: As the heart of your city, leveling up your stronghold allows you to level up other vital buildings. As long as you've already found an alliance and cashed in your free teleport, you'll want to get your stronghold level up to level eight as soon as possible.
Villas: You're going to want a lot of these, probably around ten. Besides the four resources you'll generate outside the walls of your city, you'll also need silver. Silver is vital for research and research is vital for the next stage of our plan. Upgrade these villas a few times to make sure the silver is flowing. As silver is the one resource you cannot protect with your storehouse, it's vital to make sure you can re-acquire it quickly in the wake of an attack.
Gymnos: Make sure you have one of these and don't let it fall behind in levels. If the worst happens and you need to replace your hero, a properly leveled gymnos will ensure you aren't starting from scratch.
Hospitals: A lot of beginning players overlook hospitals, but they're absolutely vital. If you're attacked and you have no hospitals, all of the troops that fall in battle will be lost. Hospitals ensure your troops will be back up on their feet and ready to fight again. You'll probably want around six hospitals in the long run.
Barracks: Besides allowing you to train new soldiers, these give a defensive bonus and improve your queue capacity for your troops. You'll probably want about four of these for now.
Storehouse: This protects your resources, except for silver, in the likely event you are attacked. Keep it leveled according to the amount of resources you keep on hand. Don't let it fall too far behind, or you'll regret it.
Academy: Leveling up the academy gives you access to advanced soldiers, defenses, and more. As with the stronghold, you'll want to get your academy up to level eight as soon as possible, so that you can research advanced troops.
As you acquire the advanced buildings, you can tear down some of your extra villas, barracks, or hospitals at your own discretion.
Advanced Troops
The key to building your power more quickly than other players in the early stages of Game of War is to reach the second level troops as soon as possible. In order to unlock them, you'll need a level eight academy, along with a bunch of resources you'll probably already have at the time and 180,000 silver. This is why you want to level up your academy as fast as possible. As research consumes a lot of silver, make sure you aren't throwing your silver away researching any old thing before you unlock at least one of the advanced troop types. As you need to research each type independently, it's probably best to choose one initially and go for that one. Make sure any other research you do complements this goal.
Distributing Hero Skill Points
The top prizes on your hero's skill tree in the beginning are Troop Attack, Research, Troop Training, and Construction. These will give bonuses to your attacking troops and speed up the timers on research, training, and construction. After that, you'll want to make your way down the left side of the skill tree to reach the advanced unit type you decided on in the last section. Max them out, and after that, it's up to you.
Odds And Ends
Make sure you that whenever you play, you take on an alliance quest and a daily quest. They're just timers, so you don't need to do anything, and they'll provide free rewards. Don't forget to claim your rewards from the quest tab of the menu, either, because they expire after a day.
You can change your name, avatar picture, and hero design all via items found in the special tab of your inventory. The game doesn't really tell you this, so I thought I'd throw it out there for everyone who's tired of using the generic handle you start with.
If it looks like an overwhelming force is coming and your troops stand no chance, march them out to anywhere for a while so that they don't get wiped out. You can call them back after the flames have gone out.
After a lot of playing and talking to other players about their approaches, I believe this is a strong approach for beginners in Game of War: Fire Age. If you follow this advice, your Power level should soar, and you'll soon have a powerful army to be reckoned with while others are still wasting their time following the bread crumb trail. Have fun, keep your head down, and your stick on the ice!

How To Play Game Of War
Gameplay
You will act as emperor of the roman empire which served to regulate the availability of natural resources in your kingdom and set the power of the military in your country. Natural resources in your kingdom consists of stone, wood, iron, rice, and You can add to the wealth of natural resources you with how to build the factories that are related and of course the factories that you can upgrade so that the productivity is higher.
Natural resources can you earn with the second way, namely by plundering natural resources belonging to the kingdom the other player or by taking wealth in mining-mining on the world map.
While in terms of construction of military power, this game is similar to game simulation similar. Where you have to build a barrack first and then from the barrack that you can create forces that can be used to attack other kingdoms, protect your kingdom from enemy attack, or take the wealth of mining on the world map.
There are no features such as tower defense that are offered such as Clash of Clans when you attack or are attacked the enemies in this game, strategies you can use in this game purely just to see the enemy's weakness while determine how many troops you use to attack or defense. I will not explain more about this because it is quite often we encounter in-game simulation of the standard kind and not much different. Similarly, with the additional features such as crafting, research, upgrading, etc. Everything is identical with the game-simulation game similar.
It that enough to help the player in this game is the presence of system search alliance which is very easy and since the very beginning of the game you've been advised by the system to search for alliance. The members of the alliance here are not only useful to help you in the fight, but also to help you accelerate development, run the quest alliance, the delivery of natural resources, important announcements, and chat in the alliance. It can be said, the developers of this game worked very well in implementing the features of alliance in this game.
Excellent features that emphasized this game is a feature of dr r that include automatic translation between languages. For example if I type a message in the Indonesian Language in the chat bar then when I send, the message will get to the player in around the world in their native language (depending the settings in-game they are). This feature is very helpful because the alliance I am mostly German and I understand what they were saying to me because of the advanced features.
This other interesting that deserve special appreciation is all about the groove on this game. The groove in this game relatively quick. Unlike similar games where you more in the wait in the construction of the plant or the training of troops, you will more often ‘active’ in this game.
For about a bonus gift, the game is considered to be very generous. Every hour you will get a secret gift that the contents are random between natural resources, adder speed, coins, or goods IAP. In addition, each day you will get a chance to do roulette that allows you to get natural resources in large quantities, is quite interesting.
One thing that stuck in this game is when you want to do multi tasking. This Game seems to not support the feature of multi tasking. For example when you are cool to play, and suddenly you have to open the sms because there are special purposes, then when you come back to this game again you have to wait for loading the game quite a long time (internet connection gadget I use wi-fi with high speed) you can play this game again. So reduce the comfort of the us as the player when playing.
Presentation
The graphics used in the game Game of War: Fire Age is already somewhat outdated. Graphics of this kind (see the screenshots) already exists in mobile gaming since 2009. Maybe the developers of this game think that the side that is emphasized in this game is the gameplay, not on graphics. Given the features that exist in this game already quite a lot and takes a lot of memory and battery life(the battery of the gadget very quickly I run out if play this game). The graphical style used is similar to the paintings of the ancient romans, which seems a little stiff but artistic. It is very suitable considering this game is a war game.
The User Interface in the game is quite neat, the size of the font and the icon is already taken into account with good so as not to disrupt our views during the game play. I play this game using your iPhone that in fact the screen is small but there is absolutely no problem in terms of comfort view.
